ASSAT Successfully Hosted the 2017 Regional Skills Competition

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority conducts Regional Skills Competition (RSC) in preparation for the upcoming Mindanao skills competition where all the Technical Vocational Institutions (TVI’s) and TESDA Training Institution (TTI’s) would be given a chance to showcase their students in all the trade of their expertise. This years’ RSC was successfully hosted by Agusan del Sur School of Arts and Trades in Agusan del Sur last August 8 & 9, 2017. In Agusan del sur, Cookery and Restaurant Services was represented by of Agusan del Sur College, Inc. where they proudly grab the Gold and Silver medals while IT Software and Graphic Design was represented by AMA Computer Learning Center of Agusan del Sur whose competitors are also a gold and silver medallist. For the Welding and Electrical Installation trade, Gold Medal were both given to the Agusan del Sur School of Arts and Trades competitors.

After the 2 day competition, the province of Agusan del Sur was declared overall champion with four (4) golds, 1 silver, and 1 bronze. Agusan del Norte closely followed with two (2) golds, 2 silvers, and 1 bronze medals. Surigao del Sur was the second runner-up winning three (3) silver medals, and the province of Surigao del Norte went home with three (3) bronze medals.
