ALL GRADES: Any classwork NOT COMPLETED IN CLASS must be completed for homework.

Based on students' I-Ready results, I am going to be assigning weekly reading that will help improve your child's informational text skills. Students will choose 4 out of 6 articles to read and summarize in 3 sentences what they learned about the article.Students can continue to practice general social studies skills by logging into IXL.(Students have the opportunity in class if they are done early in SS class)

**********

A brief reminder if a student is absent from school, they are responsible for checking Google Classroom for any assignments missed in Social Studies. Also, tests are typically announced a week in advance. Test reviews are also posted in google classroom with plenty of time for students to begin studying. If a student is absent the day of the test, upon their return, they can come in at 7:45am to take the test or take it during class. Absences should only be if a student is sick and cannot come to school. Parents should be notifying the school of a child's absence due to illness.
