Hello! My name is Anjanette Martinez and I have been a part of the TECCS community since 2011. I am currently the 5th Grade Math & Science Teacher. I attended Rutgers University and earned a degree in Child Psychology and a minor in Spanish. Prior to joining the TECCS community, I taught at the Jersey City Golden Door Charter School from 2000-2007.

It is my goal to create a classroom environment where students are learning to communicate and listen effectively, where they are thinking critically, acting responsibly, and achieving academic excellence. I remind my students daily that they will always be successful if they remember to "Be Smart and Be Kind".
