Reading Essentials
Reading Essentials is an elective class focusing on reading intervention through learning new reading strategies, increasing fluency and comprehension, and building or reinforcing a love for reading. Students set weekly goals, practice various comprehension strategies, and build vocabulary through a series of structured weekly class activities. Students will have specific, individualized reading plans and will regularly receive support in the form of one-on-one or small group work with the teacher.
