-- OPTION 2: Sign up (preferably with TDSB email). You will be able to return to the activity and complete or fix it later

- In student.desmos.com type in the class code H3TWCH

- Complete all the slides.

---- NOTE: the goal is for you to get 100% on the assignment. If you correctly complete all the slides, you get 100

- Read and take notes on 6.4 and 6.5 OR watch the Khan Academy videos below

- Do questions from 6.4 P361 #1-5

- Do questions from 6.5 P369 #1-5,7,11,14

- Complete the Knowledgehook missions for this week. THIS WILL BE MARKED AS A QUIZ!

Just a reminder that this work is due next Tuesday May 19. (Note that Monday May 18 is a holiday)

6.4

- Sometimes there is a curve of best fit instead of a line of best fit

- Sometimes there is no correlation

- The more data you have, the more likely a trend is to be valid

WEEK OF MAY 4/20

- Read and take notes on 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3 and copy the information in italics below OR watch the Khan Academy videos below

- Note: In 6.1, there is discussion of DISCRETE vs. CONTINUOUS

--> This is a concept that a lot of people have difficulty with. This video is long, but it will really help you understand the difference. If you understand it pretty quickly, you don't need to watch the whole video. https://www.khanacademy.org/math/statistics-probability/random-variables-stats-library/random-variables-discrete/v/discrete-and-continuous-random-variables

--> You graph with a dashed line when the independent variable is DISCRETE

--> You graph with a solid line when the independent variable is CONTINUOUS

- Do questions from 6.1 #1-3 (P326)

- Do questions from 6.2 #1-2,4,6,9 (P337)

- Do questions from 6.3 #1,5,7,11,12 (P349)

- Complete the Knowledgehook missions for this week. THIS WILL BE MARKED AS A QUIZ!

Just a reminder that this work is due next Monday May 11

As always, feel free to email me your questions. I am available Monday to Friday during school hours (8:45-3).
