A little about Mrs. Welch
I have been teaching at Taconic Hills since 1999. I started out my career at Taconic Hills teaching fifth grade for three years. Currently, I teach Reading to students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
I started my teaching education at SUNY Plattsburgh where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I continued my education to earn my Masters Degree in Reading at The College of Saint Rose.
Teaching kids has always been a love of mine. I have always enjoyed working with kids from a young age. I love seeing the face of a child that is reading a great new book or a student that has the look that they finally understand something they found difficult.
