Mt. Lady has a big personality, and she is the fanservice agent in My Hero Academia. But a little to no has been revealed about this giant Quirk and the advantages she has other than being big and bulky.

Mt. Lady is one of the pro heroes of the show. Despite her appearance, which was limited to only a few episodes, Mt. Lady gained a lot of respect in the anime community due to her ability to become 68 feet giant. Due to this strange Quirk, Mt. Lady can fight colossal size villains, and the ability to become a giantess makes her 10x more robust than the average human being. She can pick up cars, trucks, airplanes, and enhanced physical strength to break into walls, buildings, and skyscrapers.

Mt. Lady ability is limited to two sizes

Unlike Scott Lang from Ant-Man, Mt. Lady Quirk allows her to change into only two sizes. First is her average human size, 162 cm, and second is her giant size, 2062 cm. Apart from these two, Mt. Lady has nothing else going on with her Quirk. Due to this limitation, she cannot fight villains who are stronger than her or enclose in small spaces. While she is the absolute badass on open fields, her ability doesn't work well in congested areas and narrow streets.

Mt. Lady's superhuman strength only activates when she transforms

Another drawback that keeps this mighty Hero from becoming number one is her limitation to strength and speed. Mt. Lady can take a beating from the smallest villain in her normal form and die on the spot. Even the weakest villain can take on Mt. Lady if her ability malfunctions on the battlefield. The only way Mt. Lady can help her peers by transforming into a giantess. Unlike other heroes or even the students, Mt. Lady is utterly useless in her human form. Mt. Lady's superhuman strength activates whenever she transforms into the giantess. Besides that, she is pretty much meaningless.

She is a danger to the civilians

My Hero Academia gave several hints about Mt. Lady's destructive power and how it can lead to severe city casualties. Due to her ability to transform into one giant mess, her vision of the field reduces, making her incompetent to look at the fellow human below her. While chasing or fighting with her enemies, there is a huge possibility that she might crush a human or two, making her Quirk a double-edged sword in the hero facility. Fans might have felt uneasiness in all Mt. Lady's battles as she always puts civilians' lives in danger when fighting the evil forces.

She has a different hero base

Due to her ability to transform into a giant version of herself, Mt. Lady doesn't fit well with the rest of the pro heroes. If she ever uses her ability inside the hero’s bureau, she might end up destroying the whole building, endearing the facility and its students. This strange anomaly forced the giant queen to build her separate facility with big walls and rooms. In season 2 of My Hero Academia, Mt. Lady had some issues with her Quirk, and she made a fuss in the facility, destroying the rooms and corridors in the facility.

The Mt. Lady controversy

Even though she might have saved her comrades a few times, Mt. Lady is still irrelevant to the show. My hero Academia fans love to see her, and only a few will appreciate her powers as a pro hero. She slacks off, eats fast food, and takes interns from the U.A. High to work at her house. According to the school, pro heroes are supposed to train interns, but Mt. Lady prefers house chores and cleaning jobs. Besides her ever care-free attitude, her rank is questionable as she is a young woman who climbed the ranks without any unique ability. Any MHA fan would agree that it's not easy for any hero, including all-might, to climb those ranks as quickly as Mt. Lady.
