General Weekly Expectations
We will follow a consistent pattern each week. We may sometimes change it up, but this how most weeks will go. Each week students will be expected to do the following:
Weekly Practice Work (posted to Google Classroom; organized by week): students are given a few minutes (usually 5 minutes at the beginning of class) to practice and ask questions. The remainder of the practice work should be completed as homework (use study hall time if you have it!)
Vocabulary practice on Quizlet practice and pass (at least 60%) the vocabulary test on Quizlet.
CK-12 (Reading for detail; assigned questions)
Focus Questions (few; usually 1-3 per week)
Other practice assignments
Class Work (lab, exploration, or problem-solving).
Assessment(s) of various types to check for understanding. All larger tests and quizzes will be announced ahead of time with guidance on how to prepare.

You can contact me via email or you can schedule a meeting (in person, virtual, or phone call). Students, most of our discussions (that we cannot have during class) should take place via private comments on Google Classroom.
