The South-Western City School District has earned EVERFI’s Champion Seal, which was awarded to fewer than 5% of school districts across North America in 2020! The EVERFI Champion Seal is a designation awarded to K-12 school districts and schools that have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to whole-child education through the use of EVERFI’s evidence-informed digital programs in areas such financial literacy, social-emotional learning, college & career readiness, STEM, and health & wellness.

The South-Western City School District started using EVERFI’s digital resources seven years ago with Future Goals - Hockey Scholar, a middle school resource that teaches STEM through the sport of hockey, and Ignition, a middle school digital citizenship resource. The Columbus Blue Jackets, who sponsor the Future Goals program, led some great events with SWCSD students including a pep rally, a visit from Stinger, and a teacher training in Nationwide arena.
