NFL Challenge

Do you want to be part of the fun? Mrs. Thackeray's NFL Club is looking for new recruits! The NFL is a club for students who are Never Finished Learning (NFL). NFL members go above and beyond the normal classroom expectations and challenge themselves to do more than what they "have" to do.

Here's how to get started:

1. Choose any question from the five categories on the challenge list: Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science or Humanities.
2. Research your topic using reference books or the internet when you are finished with your work or in your free time at home.
3. STUDY, STUDY, STUDY so you become an expert on your subject.
4. When you are ready, sign up on the waiting list and I will quiz you on your topic during our "free time" after school. Bring your notes to look over but you will have to do a good job of presenting your category challenge independently to earn a point.

The "Hall of Fame" will be posted in our classroom. Once you're in the Hall of Fame, you're in for life since you are a lifetime learner!

It's your decision if you would like to be part of the NFL Club. You can be a player and earn points or be a cheerleader and support your friends. The NFL is for students who are never finished learning. It's your call. Are you up for the challenge?

When you pass the challenge you earn a point in the NFL club! There are different rankings you can earn as you learn.

• 20 yard line (points): rookie
• 40 yard line (points): starting line-up
• 60 yard line (points): pro
• 80 yard line (points): All Star
• 100 yard line (points): NFL Hall of Fame
