Mrs. Chiprich
My name is Nancy Chiprich and I am so excited to again be part of the Sunol Glen TK/ K/1 team!
I started my teaching career at Sunol Glen in 1997 and have primarily taught first grade and K/1.
I received both my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of California Pennsylvania. I continued my post-graduate work at Central Connecticut State University, Westfield State University, and the University of San Diego with an emphasis on Technology in the Classroom and Art for Elementary Grades.
My goals are to create and provide a comfortable, safe (AND fun!) learning environment for all students that enter my classroom and instill a lifelong love of learning in my students while continuing my own journey as a lifelong learner. My teaching philosophy is based upon teaching the whole-child. Everyone learns at a different rate and in a different way. I appreciate each student for their own uniqueness.
I grew up in Western Pennsylvania where I met and married my high school sweetheart. Livermore, California has been our home for the past 30 years. When I am not teaching I enjoy traveling and spending time with our son, his wife and our three grandchildren and friends.
I love teaching kindergarten and first grade and am so lucky to be working with my fabulous TK/K/1 team!
Ms. Giang
Hello, my name is Huong Giang. I am happy to be part of our awesome TK/K/1 team here at Sunol Glen!
I love working with children and continuing to grow and learn professionally. I received my teaching credential from Saint Mary’s College and went to UC Davis for my undergraduate degree in History.
This is my 25th year of teaching with this being my tenth year as a K/1 teacher at Sunol. I have also taught a year in 5th grade, several years in 3rd grade, and twelve years in second grade. My goal is to create a learning atmosphere which celebrates honesty, mutual respect, flexibility, critical thinking, cooperation, humor, imagination, and innovation. I enjoy working with my families to ensure the best year possible for my class.
I am very appreciative of the tremendous support here at Sunol Glen and look forward to meeting and welcoming my new students and families into my class!
Mrs. Stahl
Hi Sunol Glen Eagles!
My name is Rachel Stahl and I am so happy to be a part of the Eagle family! I grew up in Santa Cruz and now live in Livermore. I attended San Diego State University for my undergraduate degree and then received a masters in education from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Some of my favorite things to do are going to the beach, going on hikes and cooking!
This year will be my 9th year of teaching. I strongly believe in students having choice in their learning, building a classroom community where everyone feels safe and supported and teaching to the whole child. I love the small school feel and the tight knit community that comes with being a part of the Sunol Glen family. I have taught four years at Sunol Glen. In the past I have also taught TK, kindergarten and first grade. I am very excited to be back with the littles and moving to a TK/K combo this year!
