Welcome

Welcome to the 2023/24 school year...a year that hopefully brings us back to a more traditional learning experience after the unprecedented years we just finished.    I am  looking forward to another exciting year teaching at Summit High School.  I have designed this website to help students stay informed with what is happening in the classroom as well as keeping parents apprised of what we are doing.

I have high expectations for my students and myself.  After all, “The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but setting it too low and achieving our mark.”  Michaelangelo

  Classroom Rules

1.  Arrive to class on time, prepared & ready to work.

2.  Use polite and appropriate language.

3.  Respect the personal space, rights and property of others by

working quietly and keeping hands/feet to yourself.

4.  Listen when others are speaking.

5.  All technology (cell phones/chrome books) are to be used only when directed to do so.

**Most important, I expect all students and myself to live by the 100% Rule.  We all have times that we don't feel well or are just unable to perform at our highest level.  What I ask is that every student give 100% "of what you have to give" on any given day. We can't ask for anything more than that - can we?  I never do.
