Field trips and absences:
It is the student's responsibility to inform teachers in advance when you will miss class because of a field trip or other scheduled absence. You should send an email 2 - 3 days before your absence. If you are in school for part of the day, you should turn in your homework the day of the trip/absence.
If you are not going to be in school on the day of an assessment, you must make arrangements in advance. If you are ill, please email Ms. Donat as soon as possible to arrange a make-up date. Please note that make-up assessments may differ from the original assessment.
When you are absent, you have one day for each day you are absent to make up work. This applies even if our class does not meet.
