A Little About Me . . .

I grew up in Redding and graduated from Shasta High School.  I earned my BA in Mathematics and minor in History at UC Santa Barbara.  After working a few years, I started my family and became an at-home mom to 4 daughters.  In 2015 I completed my teaching credential at CSU Chico and began my teaching career at UPrep that same year.  This year I teach Honors Accelerated Math 7/8 and Algebra 1.  I am also the junior high math department chair.  I am very lucky to work at this awesome school where my youngest daughter, Kayla, attends 12th grade.  My three older daughters, Annie, Olivia, and Madelyn are UPrep Alumni and are in college or beyond.  I am very grateful to have had all four of them as students in my math classes.  My husband, Toby, is a civil engineer for Caltrans.  In my free time besides spending time with my family, I enjoy exercising and relaxing.
