I have been teaching at Hagan Elementary since 1989 when I graduated from Marist College. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, as well as a dual certification in Elementary and Special Education. I returned to Marist to complete my Master's Degree in Educational Psychology. After teaching for several years, I returned yet again to Marist, but this time as an adjunct instructor. The courses I taught were: "The Exceptional Child" and "Math Methods for Elementary Teachers". After teaching at Marist for several years I began teaching graduate courses for the New York State Teacher's Union. As you can see, I love teaching at all different levels! I truly enjoying watching students become excited about learning and understanding themselves as learners. This happens at every age, every level, because everyone is a lifelong learner at heart.
I have a wonderful family that keeps me very busy! My husband and I are very involved with our children and all of their activities. Family time is very important to us. We have two fabulous kids(and two very crazy dogs)!
