What you'll need for Gold Strings:
- An instrument (your teacher will check your size at your first lesson of the year)
- Lesson book: Essential Elements for Strings, Book 1 (1st year in Gold Strings) or Essential Elements for Strings, Book 2 (2nd year in Gold Strings)
- Violins & Violas: a shoulder rest (a sponge or Everest type is ideal)
- Cellos: a rock-stop (Xeros endpin anchor is ideal) if you'll be practicing on a hard floor
- A folder: the school will provide this
- A pencil! please keep this in your folder or instrument case
- Folding music stand for home practice
