In November, we discussed the character trait of gratitude which falls under the Character Counts pillar of caring. One lesson the counselors taught focused on different traditions that families have for Thanksgiving and the types of things for which we are grateful. We read the book "Duck for Turkey Day," by Jacqueline Jules and discussed how families celebrate holidays in different ways. Students then completed the paper below.
