The art class is an environment that allows students to learn and grow about themselves and the world around them through art production, art history, art criticism and art appreciation.  

During the course of the school year, students will have the opportunity to . . .

·         Learn about art elements and principles of design

·         Learn about other disciplines of learning such as math, literacy, science, and more

·         Explore  art techniques & processes using a variety of media & tools

·         Learn about art history and culture

·         Look at and critique art

·         Make connections to art and the world around them

·         Build self confidence and pride in their work.
