Short Bio
Ting Liu is an Associate Professor of Economics at Stony Brook University. She is also affiliated with the College of Business at Stony Brook University. Dr. Liu’s fields of research include applied theory, industrial organization, and health economics. Her recent research studies the impact of reputation concerns on expert sellers’ conduct and firms’ incentives to acquire information in different market environments. Dr. Liu’s work has appeared at the International Economic Review, the Journal of Industrial Economics, International Journal of Industrial Organization, European Economic Review, and the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. Dr. Liu holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University. Prior to joining Stony Brook University, she worked as an assistant Professor at Michigan State University.
