Field Trip to Lowell Textile Museum
5th Grade 2015-2016
5th Grade enjoyed a fun filled intense day at the Lowell Textile Museum. This museum is filled with interactive exhibits honoring the textile history of the northeast of the United States of America. 5th grade spent the morning exploring the Silk Road, which Europeans travelled across exchanging ideas and materials. They learned that the trips were often more about acquiring wisdom then making money. The children then learned about colonial activities and games. William and Hailey volunteered to be a colonial boy and girl. Everyone had a lot of fun!
