I have been at St. Joseph's since 2007. In 1982, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelors Degree in Finance and Marketing. In 2002, I went back to school part time to get my Certification in Education, which I completed in 2006.
I taught 4th grade for 12 years. In 2019 I started teaching Technology and doing Student Services. My children started having children and I went to part-time so I could watch my grandchildren while continue working with the students at St. Joe's. I have always loved technology and integrated it as much as I could when teaching 4th grade, so the move was an easy one to make.
I have been married for 42 years. My husband's name is Nick. We have a daughter, Elizabeth and two sons, Ben and Matt. Beth is married and has three children, Lilly, Nolan, and Stella. Matt is also married and has two sons, Gavin and Mason.
In my spare time I love to read, my favorite genre of book is mystery, but I enjoy any genre of book. I also enjoy any type of craft, such as scrap booking, knitting, crocheting, and many more. My favorite thing to do is to hang out with my children, and their spouses, playing board games, cards, or just sitting and talking about what is happening in their lives.
I am a very easy going person who likes to look for the good in a person. I love teaching children. I especially enjoy seeing their faces when they say they can understand and can relate what we have learned to everyday life. I like to have fun with things and this carries into my teaching and the things we do in class. I can honestly say I LOVE SCHOOL! I remember loving school way back in kindergarten, I have always enjoyed school and learning! I am looking forward to teaching your child and both watching and helping them grow.
