About us:
The District VII Choral Directors Association operates as a district-level branch of the Louisiana Music Educators Association. Our organization hosts annual events for students in choral music programs in parishes in our area, including 1st Round LMEA All-State auditions & District Honor Choir.
Organizations:
National Association for Music Education (NAfME) & Louisiana Music Educators Association (LMEA) membership entitles teachers and his/her eligible students to participate in any LMEA event such as the Choral Performance Assessment, LMEA District and State Solo and Small Ensemble Festivals, and LMEA Senior High Mixed and Women's All-State Choirs. It also includes NAfME events like the National Honor Choir. To become a member of LMEA, one must complete the NAfME membership and choose Louisiana as the state affiliate.
