Since 2001, Pete Weinman, a proud Staten Islander*, has provided legal services focusing on residential real estate. He is highly regarded among his clients and colleagues for his integrity, commitment, honesty, and practical approach. Pete ensures his clients receive personalized attention and are kept well-informed throughout their legal journey.

Before starting his legal career, Pete worked full-time for Project Hospitality, Inc., a Staten Island non-profit organization dedicated to serving the homeless, the mentally ill, and those affected by HIV/AIDS. While working full-time, Pete pursued his higher education, earning a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in English from the City University of New York (CUNY) College of Staten Island in 1992. He continued his education, graduating with a Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from New York Law School in 2000.

Pete combined his passion for technology with his legal studies during law school, working freelance as a "computer guy and law student." He developed and automated databases, legal forms, and office documents/systems for numerous law firms across New York City, with some continuing to use his automated forms to this day.

Admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey, Pete honed his skills as an Associate at several esteemed Staten Island law firms, including Lee & Amtzis, LLP**, Gaines & Fishler, LLP**, and Corash & Hollender, PC. In May 2010, he transitioned to private practice.

In May 2021, Pete was re-elected for a fourth three-year term as a Director of the Richmond County Bar Association (RCBA). Previously, he served two consecutive three-year terms (2011-2014 and 2015-2017). Additionally, Pete was elected to the Board of the Staten Island Women's Bar Association (SIWBA) in May 2016, where he served as Director for one year and remains an active member. Over the years, Pete has been involved with various other professional organizations, including the Staten Island Trial Lawyers Association (SITLA), the RCBA Volunteer Lawyers Project, the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), the Staten Island Board of Realtors® (SIBOR), and the National Association of Realtors® (NAR). Pete has also sat as a volunteer Arbitrator at the Richmond County Civil Court, Small Claims Part, and is a founding board member of New World Preparatory Charter School (NWP), Staten Island's first charter middle school, which expanded to offer K-5 classes in 2020. In September 2019, Pete became an NYS Certified Real Estate Instructor.

When not working, Pete cherishes time spent with his wife, Darlene, and their four children. A vegetarian, he enjoys running, motorcycle riding, rock concerts, and comedy shows.  Pete has completed every NYC Marathon since 2000 (23 in total***).
