AUSABLE CHASM
Science teachers and families - join us for a fun-filled day at Ausable Chasm on August 10th from 10 am - 2 pm. Reduced admission includes rafting or tubing as well as tour; bring your own picnic lunch.

NORTHEASTERN SECTION GENERAL MEETING
We're back! Join your fellow Northeastern STANYS members for an evening of science and social networking, held at one of the area's newest gathering places - the Valcour Brewing Company. There's no better place to celebrate the resurrection of NE STANYS than at a brewery working on resurrecting the Old Stone Barracks in Plattsburgh, the last remaining structure built by the US Army in 1838.
Enjoy meeting and reconnecting with science teachers from around the North Country... socialize in the tasting room, learn about the science and technology of brewing with a brew tour, and enjoy the architecture and history of the Old Stone Barracks.
$5.00 admission (collected at the door) includes light refreshments.
Bring a guest! We'd love to connect with more of our area science colleagues. Anyone choosing to register for STANYS can do so at the event, and as a bonus their event admission will be waived!
Look for invitations to be mailed in early March!
