How do we know what you will be teaching every week?
Every week I send out a Weekly Newsletter that contains information about
the letter of the week, the lesssons that will be taught and important
school information.
How do I know what kind of day my child had?
We use a discipline calendar on a daily basis. Your child will receive a happy face
sticker or a sad face sticker on their calendar with a brief explanation next to it.
Parents sign the calendar every night. This is a wonderful tool for
communication. It works great!!!
Do the children receive a report card?
We give out progress reports twice a year. The first progress report is
followed by a parent-teacher conference.
Do the children go on field trips?
Yes, we go on two field trips per school year. Parents are required to go on all
field trips.

Yes, weather permitting, we use the preschool playground. Preschool has
their own fenced-in playground.
Do you offer special lunch?
The children can purchase chicken tenders from Monday through Thursday or pizza on Friday.
What is the process for drop-off and pick-up?
Parents walk their children to gym in the morning between 8 and 8:20 unless they are already here from morning Cares.
At pick-up parents form a line
out by the Old Gym and the teachers put the children into their car.
How do parents/teachers communicate?
The teacher sends home a weekly newsletter so that the parents know what will
be taught in class the following week. This teacher website provides another means of communication.
Parents can email teachers if they have questions/concerns. We have conferences after progress reports are
distributed. Furthermore, children have a daily discipline calendar that
goes home so that parents know what kind of day they had..
