My name is Heather Lewis. I was born in California, but have lived most of my life in Texas. I am married and have 3 sons and 1 daughter. I enjoy spending time with my family, taking pictures, riding my bicycle long distance, running, crafting, stand up paddle boarding (SUP), and most outdoor activities. I also love to read! I look forward to sharing my passion and excitement for learning with your child!
Teaching Experience
I have been teaching in one way or another since 1993. This is my 18th year to teach at Ethridge. I have taught everything from Kindergarten to 6th grade, except 2nd grade. I love teaching students of all ages. They always have something to teach me!
Teaching Philosophy
My belief is that all children have the desire to learn, and that I must use many strategies and resources to get them excited about learning!

Activities: mountain biking, road cycling, running, boating on the lake, paddle boarding (SUP), reading, photography, hanging out with my family.
Drink: water, Diet Dr. Pepper & strong black coffee
Snacks: trail mix, dark chocolate, pretzels, fruit
Reading: mysteries, historical novels
Shopping: I am a bargain shopper and love T.J. Maxx, Ross, Marshalls, & Target!
Food: I love to cook and really enjoy any spicy food!
Collections: I collect all types of crosses and Texas Tech gear
