I have a BA degree in Elementary Education and a Masters of Science degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy.
I have a diversified teaching background, with experiences ranging from Preschool (3 years old), Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. I have also served as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher for elementary, middle and high school in Costa Rica, The Czech Republic, Alabama and Virginia as well as a Title One teacher in a Mobile Classroom for a Catholic school in D.C.
Fun Fact about me, I love to travel and have lived abroad in Costa Rica as a Peace Corps Volunteer, and in The Czech Republic as a teacher in a Montessori International School. My favorite past-time is to hang-out with my family. I am blessed with two wonderful boys and a loving husband.
I grew up in Philadelphia. I moved to Baltimore to attend Loyola College where I received my BA in Elementary Education/Theology.
I have two daughters who attend St. Stephen School and, in 2018, I began working full-time as the Instructional Assistant in PreK-4.
My favorite things include coffee, baseball, the beach, and spending time with my family!
