This year's theme is Wonderful World of Color!
(see the "create link" for more details on our theme this year)
We are so excited to share an activity with you that will put your creativity and imagination into action! This is your opportunity to push yourself as a Golden Eagle and create something that you can truly be proud of and excited about!
Here is how this activity will work:
1) Sign up using the Google Form to let me know that you are going to participate.
2) You will watch two brief videos about a young, creative boy named Caine and then visit his website. For the older grades (3 - 5), if you are looking for an extra challenge, you can view the additional videos to create a costume out of cardboard instead of a game if you want!
3) Using what you have learned about Caine and/or how to create cardboard costumes, you will brainstorm ideas on how to bring your own creative cardboard ideas to life!
4) Then you get to do it! You create something that you have designed and built!
5) Finally you get to record a video or take a picture of your creation to be posted on this website! You must also bring your cardboard creation to school on Wednesday, October 29th for everyone to enjoy! Since you will be bringing your creation to school, make sure you create something that can be moved!
Timeline:
Monday, October 13th: Cardboard Challenge Starts!
Friday, October 17th: Sign Up Due
Wednesday, October 29th: Picture/Video Upload Due and Cardboard Showcase
Friday, October 31st: Final Video Celebration Released
