Reha-Aquabike used as a research device

In cooperation with Swiss Paraplegic Centre, Swiss Olympic Medical Center Bad Ragaz and other partners, the below-mentioned studies have been published. Further research-projects are in progress.

The outcome of these learnings is the starting point for the clinical trial study in Valens.

Water carries forces, aquabike technology strenghtens its evolvement

Water is vital for all known forms of life. In water therapy, one of the positive fact is the limitation of increasing body temperature while exercising. Therefore MS patients profit from reduced spastic syndrome. In addition, with the new Reha-Aquabike, performance -, coordination - and power training is now possible. The positive effects from endurance training, better muscle power and enhanced mobility result in a better life quality and reduced fatigue. It is well known and also more and more evident, that the negative course of disease of physical actives slows down and the duration of episode shortens.
