Lab Learner Cellular Organization Labs 1, 2, 3
Lesson 3- Cellular Organization Labs
Use Lab learner videos to work with students before the lab.
Investigation 1- The students will use the microscope to view cells and determine if they can identify the type of organism a cell comes from through observation?
Work in the lab using microscopes and slides. Do a worksheet and answer questions.
Investigation 2- The students will compare specimens which are prepared differently to determine if staining and sectioning affect the appearance of a specimen. Use pictures from the internet to identify cross and longitudinal sections celery and a corn stem. Also explain how staining helps to view specimens. Do a worksheet and answer questions.
Investigation - 3 The students will use prepared slides to tell if the specimen is a Plant or Animal cell. Also decide if they are from the same organisms. Do a worksheet and answer questions.
Lesson 4-Test
Use Vocabulary test and Lab Learner Test
Requirements and Assessment Procedures for Science 2024-2025
