As a PhD student at Tikrit University, I research the action, chemical composition, and molecular mechanisms of medicinal and aromatic plants and their bioactive compounds.

My name is Tara Faeq Muhammed Salih, Assistant Professor, College of Health and Medical Technology, Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU). 

I am an assistant professor with an MSc degree in medicinal plants from 2013. Publications: 14 articles I have published. (2) Conference papers and (12) Journal papers.

My research interest: 

1. Physico-Chemical Properties of Pumpkin Seed Oil & Management of Inflammatory Facial Acne Vulgaris.

2. The black seed (Nigella sativa) oil has an antibacterial effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

3. Effect of Nigella sativa (black cumin seeds) and Zingiber officinale (Ginger rhizome) Essential Oils on Multidrug-Resistant Bacteria.
