I am currently teaching the following modules within the Garden Design Department:
Indoor Planting Design (IPD304) – 2nd Year
This module focuses on the principles and practices of designing with indoor plants, emphasizing spatial aesthetics, plant selection, and environmental considerations. Students learn how to integrate botanical elements into interior spaces, developing functional and visually compelling planting schemes tailored to various indoor environments.
Garden Nursery (NUP202) – 1st Year
In this foundational course, students are introduced to the essential skills required for nursery management, including plant propagation, soil preparation, pest control, and seasonal care. The module also explores the commercial and operational aspects of running a garden nursery, preparing students for both practical and professional applications in the field.
Student Project Supervision – 2nd Year
I supervise and guide second-year students through their individual and group design projects. This involves mentoring them through the research, conceptualization, and development phases, with an emphasis on applying theoretical knowledge to real-world garden design challenges. The project work encourages innovation, critical thinking, and professional presentation skills.
