Our class is enjoying the read-aloud of "The World According to Humphrey". The students are enjoying getting to know the class pet "Humphrey" and look forward to hearing about the teachers, principal, janitor, and students from Humphrey's point of view. Our Vocabulary Unit 5 & compound word spelling test will be on Thursday, November 15, this week.

Students will bring home their homework folders each day. Their weekly homework assignments are distributed on Fridays and are due the following week on Friday. Students know they are to read for 20 minutes each night and write a short summary, practice their math facts each night, and weekly handwriting, spelling, and vocabulary practice.
