Hello! My name is Mrs. Phillip and I will be your 8th grade teacher this year at CMS! A few things about me...I have a bachelors degree in History and a masters degree in Secondary Education from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in History. This is my second year at CMS, but my fourth year teaching US History. I love to read, travel (as you can see below), watch documentaries and movies, spend time with my family and friends, and pretty much anything else where I get to meet new and different kinds of people. I am so excited for this school year. I know we are going to learn so many new things and have a blast doing it.
