Welcome to the Bammel Middle School Choir program! 

Welcome to one of the most consistently successful programs at Bammel MS and Spring ISD! The program consists of nearly 200 students in the 6th through 8th grade in nine performing ensembles, spread out over six class periods:  Varsity Treble, Non-Varsity Treble, Sub Non-Varsity Treble, Varsity Tenor-Bass, Non-Varsity Tenor-Bass, a 6th Grade Treble choirs, and a 6th Grade Tenor-Bass choirs.

Students involved in the choirs at BMS will not only learn how to sing, but how to read music, think critically, and most all, how to work as a team. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their talents through various public performances and contests and competitions including the UIL Concert & Sight Reading Contest, Spring ISD Solo & Ensemble Contest, TMEA Region XXXIII MS/JH Honor Choir, and the Spring ISD 6th Grade Choir Festival.

Bammel is a member of TMEA Region XXXIII. The region consists of schools from Spring, Aldine, Humble, Galina Park, and more. Since joining Region XXXIII, the Bammel choir program has boasted multiple UIL Sweepstakes awards, multiple members in the Region XXXIII MS/JH Honor Choirs, and multiple 1st chairs in those Region Choirs. 

The students of the BMS Choir program are very active in school and community as visual art students, drama/theater performers, band members, athletes, cheerleaders, and step team members. These singers strive to be a diverse and eclectic group that loves to sing and perform all types and styles of music. The choir is one big family and we are so excited you are a part of us!

Bammel Middle School is located in Spring ISD in north Harris County. Performing and Visual Arts in Spring is well supported by both families and surrounding communities. Spring ISD PVA programs are nationally recognized as a great community for music education.
