About Me

My name is Remi Wientjes, this is my sixth year teaching here at Creekside Elementary! I grew up in Onida, SD and graduated from Sully Buttes High School in 2014.  I went to Black Hills State University and graduated in May of 2019.  While I was there, I played college basketball for five years (Go Jackets!) and was involved in multiple courses and activities to help me graduate with an Elementary Education Degree and a minor in Middle School.  I have been teaching third-grade for the past six years, I currently made the decision to move to fifth-grade! 

While I am not teaching I enjoy coaching for Spearfish High School, where I am an assistant on the Girl's Basketball team and am an assistant for the Girl's Track Team!
