Hello everyone! My name is Paul Jamison and this is my sixth year teaching in the Spearfish School District. Prior to teaching here, I taught 7-12 Mathematics in North Dakota. I am extremely excited to be apart of one of the best school districts in South Dakota and have the opportunity to be included in this great community.
I have a different educational background than many teachers. I graduated from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2011. My educational path then led me to Black Hills State University where I graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors Degree in Composite Math and Science Education, and recently I graduated from the University of Jamestown with a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I love being an educator and will always strive to learn new things to improve my teaching skills.Â
