Welcome to Alpine School! My name is Mrs. Gast and this is my 12th year here in Sparta teaching students in Kindergarten/1st/2nd Grade. I am so glad your child is going to be in my class this year! I had a busy summer getting ready for the school year! I hope you have been enjoying your summer! I cannot wait to hear all about it! I am so excited about this school year, and I really hope you are, too!

I believe that each year a student’s success is supported by a cooperative parent (guardian)/teacher relationship.  I look forward to working with you throughout the year. Your involvement, interest, and enthusiasm will help make this a wonderful year of growth for your child!

  Each day we will have a snack and a lunch. Please pack food and a drink for each of these each day. If your child will be purchasing lunch from the cafeteria, please send in a copy of the school lunch menu with their choices marked or highlighted. If your child is getting a school lunch, please still pack a snack for them each day.  Please keep snacks peanut/nut free.
