There is so much to do and so little time, especially for students in this day and age. When deciding what activities your child should be involved in, consider the brain benefits that activity has to offer. Music enhances brain development by activating numerous sections of the brain. Music wires the brain to better function in math, language, history, reading and science. Students strengthen their fine motor skills. They take ownership of “21st-century skills” essential to leading a successful life. Music relieves stress and enhances memory. It is more than self-expression through pressing keys or strumming strings. Music gives life to the brain.
