American Dream Grant The Northwest Missouri State University Dream Grant is a 4-year award for Pell-eligible students that cover a student’s tuition and standard fees, primary textbooks and the use of a laptop. To qualify for the American Dream Grant, a student must be eligible for the federal Pell grant. Missouri students must have scored at least an 18 on the ACT and earned at least a 2.5 high school grade-point average. Out-of-state students must meet eligibility requirements for Northwest’s Bearcat Advantage scholarship to qualify for the American Dream Grant.
