Talented and Gifted: Units and Programs

Southeast Polk’s Talented and Gifted program is designed to:

• envision a future where giftedness, talent and high potential are fully recognized, universally valued, and actively nurtured.

• advocate that people with giftedness, talent or high potential are provided an appropriate educational experience matching their abilities and needs.

• develop students’ skills in the areas of collaboration, critical and creative thinking, research and self-directed learning while meeting their affective needs.
