About Mrs. Nine

I was brought up in the Shawnee Mission School District and completed my secondary education at SM East. My academic interests led me to the University of Kansas, where I pursued a degree in Psychology and Sociology. Upon graduation, I gained experience working in various mental health settings. It was during my time pursuing a Master of Social Work at KU that I discovered my passion for school social work. My graduate studies offered me the opportunity to assist middle and high school students, and I really enjoyed the experience. I had the privilege of working with students and families at Comanche Elementary School for twelve years before transitioning to Westridge, where I am currently in my sixth year, continuing to make a difference in the lives of students and their families. When not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and our two sons. We love to be outdoors, traveling, baking special treats, and rooting for the Royals, Chiefs, and Jayhawks!
