This is the fourth ROSE Players production that Robert has been involved in, and he is excited to continue running the sound system, as well as help train and a new generation of sound crew. Robert would like to thank the amazing friends he's made through the ROSE Players, as well as his super talented sound crew for helping all along the way. You may have seen Ronnel in the Spring One Acts in 14 More Ways To Screw Up A College Interview playing as multiple interviewees (Jay, Gertrude, Max, and Ballston), The Philadelphia as the chaotic (Al) and in his silly iteration of (Leaf Coneybear and Jesus) in the spring musical and mainstage debut, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling! Ronnel started musicals in Evergreen Elementary's production of Music Man Jr. where he played Winthrop in 5th grade! After a devastating middle school audition mishap, he never continued his musical career… until last year! Now he aims to make the most in his debut in a mainstage play! Ronnel is so grateful for everyone in his loving cast who has welcomed him back to the stage and enjoyed his accompaniment for the time he has been here, specifically Faith who ultimately forc- got him to audition! He feels so grateful for the support of his family: mom, dad and sister as well as his friend group, with the designated name, Swole Squad. And last but not least Mr. Barbato, Ms. G, and Ms. Teston for seeing the potential he has to entertain the stage. He hopes you enjoy the show and wants you to remember, there's no such thing as “being too silly” and to defy being told to “grow up” because you're only a kid once, so make the most of it! Be ambitious, be silly, and most importantly, be yourself, despite what others say about you!
This is Devin Bean’s fifth show with the ROSE Players, and he is excited to see what the audience makes of this show. He made prior appearances in the play Macbeth (Donalbain), the Musical The Music Man (Newspaper reader #1), and the one-act play ZAP! (Luke, Inspector Swift, and Duke of Buckingham). He did work during Three Bags Full (Assistant Costumer), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Assistant Stage Management). This year he is doing work as the Stage Manager. He would like to thank Carson Alle and Megan Biglin for their work with stage management; as well as the cast and crew for their dedication. Enjoy the show!
This is Mia’s second ROSE Players production she has participated in. You may have seen her acting in The Philadelphia (Spring One Acts) as one of Waitresses! She was involved in Hair/Makeup crew for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Mia is delighted to be understudying Hannibal in The Curious Savage, while also being a part of Hair/Makeup once again! She would like to thank her family, friends, and castmates for being there for her through the whole show process, and she would like to especially thank Mr. Barbato for giving her this opportunity to express herself through Hannibal’s character.
This is Megan’s seventh show with the ROSE Players and she is thrilled for it. Megan has been Run Crew Head for the past six productions, it is always a wonderful experience and she is so excited to work with the cast and crew again. She has greatly enjoyed working on this show and she would like to thank the cast and crew for the support, kindness, friendship, and help along the way. The ROSE Players are an amazing group of people, very dedicated, and put so much passion into every show. This show has been so fun to be a part of, enjoy!
This is Ava’s seventh mainstage show with the LHS ROSE Players, and she is overwhelmingly excited to be able to kickstart her final year with a beautiful show and an even more beautiful cast and crew. She’s happy to come back as Master Carpenter and to help in the other crews she’s in. Her favorite shows so far are “The Play That Goes Wrong,” and last years “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” in which she helped with Run Crew, House, and was Master Carpenter for the musical. She would like to thank her parents for always being there, as well as her friends who helped her power through tough times. She’d also like to make a special shout-out to all of the cast and all of the techies who put an insane amount of work into bringing the show to where it is now. Enjoy the show!
This is Lileighs 3rd show with the ROSE players. Last year she was a (Lord) in Macbeth and (ensemble) in Music Man. This year she is understudying for (Genevieve) in Three Bags Full. She would like to thank her stunning parents and friends for dealing with her, helping her along the way and lending unconditional support and love. This is Grace’s third show being involved in Leonardtown ROSE Players. She is ecstatic to play Lily Belle in “The Curious Savage” as her debut for main stage acting. You may have previously seen Grace in the 2024 One Acts (Holly/Sherry) , or behind the scenes as a sound technician for “Three Bags Full” and “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”. This is Logan’s first mainstage performance with the LHS ROSE players. Logan is the Master Carpenter’s apprentice and helped construct the gorgeous set in tonight’s performance. Logan would like to thank his family, girlfriend, and friends for supporting his theater endeavors!

She is thrilled to be onstage in The Curious Savage as (Florence Williams), and behind the scenes as the publicity crew head. You may have seen Kaelin last year in Three Bags Full (Angela), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive Ostrovsky and Brooke Coneybear), Check, Please! (Girl), or Cafe Muder (Rosemary). As a sophomore, Kaelin was featured in The Music Man (Amaryllis), Macbeth (Murderer #3/Malcom Understudy), Good Business Sense (Claudia), and Dinner at Eight, Dead By Nine (Darby). She also appeared in LHS’s productions of White Christmas (Passenger 3/Susan Understudy), Dress Rehearsal Disaster (Lindsey), and managed the sound system for The Play That Goes Wrong. Abby is excited to be back for her third production with the ROSE Players, and is thrilled to be understudying for Lily Belle Savage in The Curious Savage. She has enjoyed performing in many shows including The Wizard of Oz (Ms. Gulch), Mary Poppins (Ms. Andrew), Shrek (Wicked Witch), Frozen (Anna), The Sound of Music (Lousia), The Addams Family (Wednesday Addams), Three Bags Full (Angela Barlow understudy), and was most recently seen as Rona Lisa Perretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Abby would like to thank her family for all of their love and support, her overstudy, Grace Foster, who has been such a great friend and example in bringing Lily Belle to the stage, and her voice teacher, Ms. Jennifer Cooper, for helping her to be a more confident performer. This is Ashley’s first mainstage production with the LHS ROSE Players! She is proud to be the understudy for Florence Williams in this year’s fall play The Curious Savage. Last year she played the role of Beth in the One Act show Our Place. But you might have seen her in other productions outside of LHS, like Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella with SMCRP Summerstock (featured dancer and featured singer), Shrek Jr (Dolce dancer), and The Addams Family Jr (Ancestor). Ashley is grateful for all the people she has met this year during the play. She would also like to thank Mr. Barbato for the opportunity to grow throughout this production. Ashley would also like to thank her family for always supporting her whenever she performs; whether it is theater, dance, or singing.
This is Payton’s 3rd year of helping out with the LHS ROSE Players, but her first full show. Her sophomore year, she was a part of makeup crew for “The Music Man”, and was in one of last year’s one acts, “Check Please,” as a Junior. This year she is thrilled to understudy for Mrs. Savage in “The Curious Savage”. Payton is still on the hair and makeup crew and loving all the challenges, practice and experience from these opportunities. She would like to thank her friends and family, especially her parents and sisters for supporting her through all that comes with being in a show like this: including all the last minute reminders about driving and volunteering for food, among other things. Although there have been challenges and a little stress, she has had a blast through the whole process and is happy she got a chance to be in a cast with so many lovely people. Enjoy the show!!!

You may have seen Lucy in past productions at LHS such as The Scottish Play (Messenger, First Witch’s Understudy), The Music Man (Gracie Shinn), as well as one-act productions of 14 Ways to Screw Up Your College Interview, Princess Party Smackdown, Cafe Murder, and Our Place. Last year, Lucy assisted the Hair and Makeup crew during our production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and is thrilled to be taking over the department next year. Lucy would like to thank her sister Olivia for helping her stay sane and her parents and friends for all of their support. Preston is thrilled to be performing in his second ROSE Players production! He is a Junior at LHS and his love for singing and acting continues to blossom more and more. You may have seen him during SMCRP Summerstock's production of Cinderella (Topher), or as an understudy performing in the ROSE Players' production of Three Bags Full (Borris). Preston would like to thank his amazing family for all of the support they've given him throughout all of the endeavors of the last couple of months, his friends and peers for motivating him to do his best in all of his passions, the cast for making some of the greatest memories he's had, and the techies for bringing all the magical aspects of theatre to the stage, including the set, lights, and sound. This is Christina’s third show with the ROSE Players. Having worked with scenic, paint, and house crew in past shows, Christina is excited to understudy Mrs. Paddy in The Curious Savage. They would like to thank Lileigh Carver, the principal for Mrs. Paddy, Christina has been able to bounce ideas off of Lileigh and together they have been able to improve as actors. JJ is very excited to be doing his first show with the ROSE Players! He has enjoyed performing for a while, being in Newsies (Jack Kelly), Shrek (Donkey), and 30 Reasons Not to Be in a Play (Misc). This is Zoe’s second mainstage ROSE Players show, and she is delighted to be playing (Fairy May) in this year’s production! Zoe is a fond lover of the stage. She was in many one-acts such as 4 AM (Juliet), Princess Party Smackdown (Snow White), and Dress Rehearsal Disaster (Marie). Other shows you might have seen her in are the dinner theaters Dinner at 8, Dead by 9 (Nora Dumond), and Cafe Murder (Waitress). He thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Macbeth (Siward) and being involved in The Music Man in past years, and is excited to understudy Samuel in The Curious Savage. This is Brayden’s fourth show with ROSE Players and he is ecstatic to be able to be in another show with this group of people playing Samuel Savage! However, this is his tenth main stage show. He was in Three Bags Full (Boris), The Music Man (Tommy Djilas), The Twenty-Fifth Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Leaf/Jesus) and back home in Descendants, Christmas Carol, The Nutcracker, Rock of Ages, and two school shows in elementary and middle school: The Sky is Falling and The Prince Who Couldn’t Speak.
Jayce is very excited to be in his 5th full-length ROSE player production. You may have seen him in the understudy showing of Three Bags Full as (Preston Cottingham Junior). He was also part of the pit band for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and The Music Man. He enjoyed all of the productions so far and is excited for the next year. This year he is the understudy for (Dr. Emmett). This is the most lines that he has ever had but he has made his way through it. He is very excited and would like to thank his friends and family for all the support throughout his theater career. This is Faith’s fifth show with the Leonardtown ROSE players! She is thrilled to play (Ethel Savage) in this year's fall play The Curious Savage! You may have seen Faith in the spring musical 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne Shwartzandgrubennier) or fall play Three Bags Full (Charlotte understudy). She has also appeared as the angry college admissions employee in last year's one act 14 More Ways To Screw Up A College Interview (interviewer 2), the beautiful yet chaotic ZAP! (Lady Denslow and Grandmamy) and in Music Man (Ensemble). Faith is so excited to be makeup and hair crew head this year, and can’t wait to see the show come together through the hard work of the cast and crew. Faith is honored to have this role and would love to thank Mr. Barbato for giving her the chance to pursue her ultimate passion. This is Rayne’s first full show with the LHS ROSE Players! He has enjoyed every moment being the understudy of Jefferey in this year's fall play The Curious Savage. He has been in 7 different one acts such as last year's spring one acts in “Check Please!” and “Our Place”. Backstage Rayne has been working hard as a part of costumes for “The Curious Savage” and the LHS ROSE Players house coordinator and improv club leader.
