David Abbot (Senior)- This is the second ROSE Players show that David has been involved in. He is excited for his second play with the ROSE players, as an alto saxophone player. David performed in last year’s White Christmas, as well as numerous other bands throughout highschool. He has been an alto saxophone player in LHS’s jazz band, symphonic winds, and all county band for four years. David would like to thank his family, and his twin brother, Douglass, for their endless support and positivity.
This is the second ROSE Players show that Douglass has been involved in. You may have heard him playing Alto Saxophone for White Christmas, or playing in some of Leonardtown's band concerts for the past four years. This is the first ROSE players show that Robert has been involved in, and he has enjoyed meeting the cast and crew and working with the sound crew for the first time. This is the first ROSE Players show that Carson has been involved in. Carson is excited for his first ROSE Players show! Carson started performing at SMCRP Summerstock, in Mary Poppins (Michael Banks), Newsies (Mike), Pirates of Penzance and Children of Eden (Young Abel and Ham). He has also performed at Newtowne Players in Once Upon a Mattress and Seussified Christmas Carol and was in Magical Land of Oz (Cowardly Lion) at Chesapeake Public Charter School. This is the first ROSE Players show that Maire has been involved in. Beginning theater in elementary school, she has performed in Mother Goose’s Fairy Tales (Raven Maid), Aladdin Jr. (Apple Vendor), Maria Montessori the Musical (Maria Montessori), and Mary Poppins Jr. (Mary Poppins). In addition, Maire played first chair cellist in the pit band for SMCRP Summerstock’s Children of Eden. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her in all her theater endeavors! This is the fourth ROSE Players show Chloe has been involved in. This is Chloe’s fourth ROSE Players production doing costumes, and second as the ROSE Players Costume Head. You also might have seen her costumes work in last year's White Christmas and The Play that Goes Wrong, and this year’s Macbeth. She is super happy that she was able to make this generally dreary time period more bright. She would like to thank her parents and her best friend, Leo, for sticking with her even when she’s burnt out and lying on the floor. Love you! This is the second ROSE Players show that Ash has been involved in. Ash is delighted to be in this year's musical of The Music Man as an ensemble. You might recognize them for the play Macbeth as the captain. Ash would like to thank all of the people who drove her around from my family to many of my friends. Also, they would like to thank their non theater friends who have listened to them talk about theater for the past 3 months and have had to schedule plans together around the theater schedule. You may have seen him in a few shows last year, such as the musical White Christmas (Seamstress), Dress Rehearsal Disaster, and Bad Auditions By Bad Actors for One-Acts, as well as in this year's play Macbeth (Seyton). This is the fifth ROSE Players show that Tim has been involved in. This is also the third year Tim has been involved with the ROSE players. The Music Man wasn’t real and neither was Newspaper Reader #3. If you’re cool, you may know that he is also the supreme leader of the LHS Improv Cult Club. This is the first ROSE Players show that Sam has been involved in. By extension, first time acting at all, which he’s hoping to make quite the show by playing the one and only Charlie Cowell! He’s thrilled for the opportunity and hopes to keep developing his skills in theater along with his other interests such as his work in LHS Jazz Band, Mock Trial and Model UN. Sam wants to thank his parents, girlfriend and most of all the friends he’s made in the production for their unending support in helping him navigate the new world he’s jumped into head first. This is the seventh ROSE Players show that Titus has been involved in. He has loved being a part of the ROSE community. Over the years he has taken many roles, his freshman year in Twelfth Night (Malvolio understudy) and Beauty and the Beast (Beast Understudy), Sophomore year in Clue (Mr. Body), Junior year in White Christmas (Bob Understudy) and The Play that Goes Wrong (Robert), and is finishing his senior year with The Scottish Play (Macduff) and this show, The Music Man (Oliver Hix). This is the first ROSE Players show that Brady has been involved in. Brady has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Pit Band and has spent a lot of time learning all the songs for this show. This is the sixth ROSE Players show that Avery has been involved in. He enjoyed being the Lighting Designer of The Music Man. He has been the lighting designer of Macbeth as well as last year's shows White Christmas and The Play that Goes Wrong. He also appeared on stage in the Spring One Acts of that year. In his freshman year he was cast as an understudy in Twelfth Night (Sir Toby), and would have been seen as an ensemble member in Beauty and the Beast if not for the unfortunate cancellation of the show due to the coronavirus pandemic. This is the first ROSE Players show that Austin has been involved in. Austin will be playing the part of Salesman # 4/ Townsperson (Marcellus Understudy) in this year’s showing of The Music Man. You may remember her murderous mania from Macbeth (Lady Macbeth) where she was married to Ryan Supplee for the third time, her enthusiasm for snow from White Christmas (Mrs. Snoring Man/Judy Understudy), her hysterical sobs from Oh, What a Tangled Web (Shirley), and her extra special extras from the virtual production of Clue (Singing Telegram Girl/Backup Cop/Mrs. White Understudy). This is the fifth ROSE Players show that Hannah has been involved in. Hannah is so excited that you have come to see The Music Man. You may recognize her from last year’s White Christmas (Passenger 4), The Play That Goes Wrong (Sandra), or the Spring One Act 15 Minutes (Molly). This fall she was in her first Shakespeare play, Macbeth, where she was the Lord of Ross. Hannah has had a blast being a part of this show, and has had fun with her role as the town gossip lady (yes, she is basically a chicken “cheap cheap,” but it’s fun!). She’s very grateful to her family for hauling her to rehearsals (but thank god, she gets her license in May) as well the directors, crew, and pit for all their hard work! This is the third ROSE Players show that Atlas has been involved in. This is atlas' third year with the Rose players. They are currently playing as a child member of the ensemble. They are also this year's dance captain. You may recognize them from Macbeth in which they played witch number 3. You may have also seen them in White Christmas as the dance captain. She has been an active member of the ROSE Players for four years, has been inducted in the International Thespian Society (ITS) for two years, and was on the ITS board last year. This is the third ROSE Players show that Logan has been involved in. Logan is excited to be on stage in The Music Man (Quartet-Jacey Squires). Her previous theatre roles include Moana (Moana) at SRMS, The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy) and The Music Man (Amaryllis) at EES. Additionally, she was in the cast of The Newtowne Players (Nightmare on Broadway) previously in the fall. This is the fourth ROSE Players show that Patrick has been involved in. Patrick is excited to be returning to the stage as a member of the Quartet in The Music Man. Patrick has acted since middle school, starring in EMS’ Elf (Santa) and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Augustus Gloop), as well as outside of the school system with the Newtowne Players in their production of Something Rotten (Robin). While at LHS, Patrick has participated in one acts, sung in the chorus and ensembles, was an understudy for Orsino in Twelfth Night, and worked the house, including his role as the assistant state manager for Macbeth. Patrick has committed to Temple University in the fall where he plans to study Sports Management.

You may remember her loving a piano in White Christmas (Ensemble), grumpily collecting debts in The Bear (Smirnov), and, most recently, watching Lady Macbeth’s descent into insanity in Macbeth as her Doctor. This is the eighth ROSE Players show that Peyton has been involved in. This is Peyton’s 12th show all together. She has been actively working as a co-paint crew head and as a circle leader with her besties. You may have seen her skipping around a cauldron as a witch in (Macbeth), falling off a platform as the understudy for Jonathan (The Play That Goes Wrong), dancing around as the secretary and ensemble in (White Christmas), and just about every other show for the past 4 years . In this show you will see her amazing dancing skills and hatred for dirty books as the Mayor's Wife, Eulailie (Marian’s understudy). This is the first ROSE players show that Blake has been a part of. In this year's The Music Man, Blake will be playing Ewart Dunlop, tenor 2 in the quartet. His previous roles include Peter Pan (Captain Hook) at CPCS, and The Newtowne Players Auditions. This is the second ROSE Players show that Cameron has been involved in. During the show Cameron will be performing on both Clarinet and Bass Clarinet (Reed IV) in the Pit Orchestra. He also performed in last year's seasonal musical White Christmas, taking on Saxophone, Clarinet, and Bass Clarinet. You may have also seen Cameron in several other school ensembles like the marching band, where he was the drum major for their 2022-2023 season.

Ella has enjoyed playing the Tenor Saxophone for both The Music Man (Reed 5) and last year’s production of White Christmas (Reed 4). You may have seen Ella on the field playing the Tenor Saxophone in Marching Band, or on the stage as a part of LHS’s Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, All-County Band, or Tri-County Band! This is the first ROSE Players show that Brayden has been involved in. This is Brayden's first year being in a musical at LHS, even though he's a sophomore he moved halfway through the year last year and thought it would be best to rest for a little and settle in before acting again. He has been in other musicals before in a theater in orange park Florida such as Descendants, A Christmas Carol, Rock of Ages, and The Nutcracker (farce). He has also been in musical theater and chorus for 7 years. He loves this show and hopes everyone loves it as much as he does enjoy the show.

They have enjoyed every year they’ve been involved whether that be doing cast member’s makeup, helping painting sets, or acting on stage. You may recognize them from The Play That Goes Wrong (Annie Understudy), White Christmas (Assistant Costumer), or in their Sophomore one act, Check Please (Girl). As the last full production that Maddie is able to be a part of for the Rose Players, she is very excited to play in The Music Man as Mrs. Paroo. As the 6th show with the Rose Players, you could’ve seen Maddie play a Magical Spoon/ Ensemble (Beauty and the Beast), or might’ve seen them as a bashful ensemble member (White Christmas), handcuffed as Dennis (The Play That Goes Wrong), or even cut down in their prime as the Noble Banquo (Macbeth). Maddie is currently the Vice President, Paint Crew Head, and Circle Leader for ITS and Rose Players. This is the fifth ROSE Players show that Fletcher has been involved in. He's delighted to be performing with this group once again! You may have seen him meandering in LHS's White Christmas (Ezekiel Foster), coming back from the dead in The Play That Goes Wrong (Jonathan), or conducting an army in MacBeth (Malcolm). If you're really cool, you may have also seen him in one of the past few Summerstock performances. You can also see his effort with any toys, weapons, or band instruments you can see on stage during these performances- though he's Prop Head, Fletcher's gotten a lot of help from Hannah Gravelle, Mr. Barbato, Ms. G, and many others. This is the sixth ROSE Players show that Ryan has been involved in. He is excited to end this year with a bang as Marcellus Washburn! You may have seen him most recently in Macbeth as the Scottish Thane himself, in which he was married to Suzzane Haycraft for the third time. Please don’t follow his example from White Christmas (Mr. Snoring Man). We'd rather you stay awake for this show. You may have seen him as Trevor in The Play that Goes Wrong or as Mr. Quigley in Oh, What a Tangled Web (ridiculous names, I know.) This is the third ROSE Players show that Hope has been involved in. She has had an amazing experience working with her fellow ensemble characters for this show. Last year, Hope was in the winter musical, White Christmas, once again as another ensemble character. However, in last year's Spring One Acts, she appeared in the short act, Dress Rehearsal Disaster as Stacy. Hope is so grateful to her parents and older brothers for dealing with their tight schedules and finding ways to pick her up from afterschool, as well as to her friends who are always supporting her in shows!
