LHS R.O.S.E. Players - What’s in a Name? ROSE stands for “Raiders' On Stage Endeavors.” LHS’s mascot is the Raider (an Osprey) and The Rose Theatre in London was the precursor to The Globe Theatre, both famous in Shakespeare’s day and a significant part of his career. Our theatre programs promote integrity, embodied in Shakespeare’s quote, “This above all: to thine own self be true.”
