In order to ensure that your hard work doesn't languish, unread, in my unruly inbox, please use a shared Google Drive. If you've never done this before:
You can find Google Drive on the Tools tab of MySLU: https://myslu.slu.edu/tools.
Create a folder (from the “New” button). You can name it whatever you wish, with two constraints:
Know that I'll see the folder name =-)
Please include at least your last name and the course name or number. (At this instant, I am shared on six different folders labeled "Astrodynamics Homework", so I need to do some careful checking before returning graded homework...)
Choose the Share option (there are lots of ways to get here. One way is to open the folder and click on the dropdown menu)
Enter my address. Be sure that the notification checkbox is checked, and that I have edit access:
Notes
I don’t care whether you use your SLU account or another GSuite account
If at all possible, please refrain from changing the folder name later – I use some scripts to push/pull files from the folder, so if you keep changing the folder name, I’ll miss it when you put files in it.
If you normally use Google Drive for your own work, please create a special folder just for sharing assignments with me – as I noted above, I use scripts to automatically push/pull from this folder, and I don’t want to be grabbing all of your other files
Yes, I do mean Google Drive and not just any shared drive. (I find the Microsoft OneDrive to be inferior to Google Drive, but the main point is that I can't afford to manage dozens of students across dozens of different shared services.)
