Here are some more pictures from Allenville, MO
This is the old train station from the early 1900's.
Plans are to strip off the old siding and rebuild in near future.
No one remembers what happened to the town jail. You can see the bars still in the little windows. We like to think there was a great jail break and some famous outlaw, (maybe a member of the James Gang) escaped.
Pastor Phil and his granddaughter.
There were cases of little Cuties oranges and bags of apples and bananas. Who knew kids would love getting fresh fruit as a gift. These are the little extras that some can't afford.
Cinders the Bear was checking out some of the jeans and other clothing but since they weren't railroad bibs, he passed them along to some of the kids.
Remember the young man standing in front of the firetruck without a coat? The Rams may not be a winning football team in 2009 but this sweatshirt with the Rams logo was a winner for this young man.
This little girl found a pink snow suit. While the jacket and pants may be a little too big this year. She plans to wear them for a long time. Now all she needs is a foot of snow.
Cinders, the town treasurer, and all the children of Allenville thank you for your generosity.
