The Billiken's Women's Soccer Team is looking for a student Digital Content Creator to intern in late summer/fall. If you have social media content creation and graphic design skills and are looking for hands-on experience developing content for a top-ranked D1 athletic program, this may be of interest to you. 

The Missouri Historical Society is accepting applications from current college students who are interested in a career in marketing or communications and seek a paid internship. More information can be found here.

ArchCity Defenders is a legal advocacy organization that combats the criminalization of poverty and state violence, especially in communities of color, in pursuit of justice and equitable outcomes for people throughout the St. Louis region and beyond. They are looking for interns in a variety of roles, including Communications & Digital Media, Graphic Design, Development, Operations, and Community Collaborations. The Riverfront Times offers internships for a photographer and writers "interested in reporting about hard news, food, arts, music, or a combination, as well as one photographer to assist with our news, food and event coverage." The St. Louis Surge Women's Basketball team is looking for a number of communications-related interns, including graphic design, video production, PR, and sales/marketing. More information about the internships can be found here.

Some opportunities are paid, many are not, but all offer ways for students to hone their skills, develop professional competencies, and perhaps add to a portfolio of work samples.
