Welcome to the media center at SLH School.

Please remember that respect is our golden rule.

Books for your pleasure are arranged on the shelves with care.

Fascinating fact and information books are also there.

The computers are excellent to use,

As information resources and creative tools.

The Internet, the patrons’ catalog and the programs, too,

Empower you to excel in the tasks you need to do.

For all to enjoy this wonderful joint,

Please keep in mind a few simple points.

Each book has a special home,

If you misplace it, it will be lost and alone.

Do not change settings on a computer,

It messes things up and causes confusion.

This is not the place to drink or eat.

Certainly never put gum under your seat.

Of course your hands should always be clean.

Getting dirt on the books or keyboards would just be mean.

Never leave garbage or paper behind,

To expect others to pick it up would not be kind.

Always put away materials and push in your chair.

Whatever you do, make sure you share.

Raise your hand when you want to be heard.

Listen carefully to your classmates’ words.

Returning books on time is important to do,

So others can enjoy them too.

Most of all, always be nice to everyone,

Be happy, enjoy, and have fun!
