Claim, Evidence, Elaboration, Closure

A claim should be worded STRONGLY.  Avoid phrases like, "I think," "probably," etc.

Here are some other sentences starters for EVIDENCE:  An example from the text shows; The graphic showed; In paragraph ___ , it states; A study conducted by __________ found; Dr. _______ stated in an interveiw by __________ that." 

Here are some other sentences starters for ELABORATION:  This shows...; This confirms;  This evidence proves that...; The overwhelming evidence clearly indicates that; etc.
